I have traced my great-great grandfather, Thomas Lee, to the town of Elba in New York from the 1880 Census. He came to this county from Wicklow, Ireland as a child probably in the years preceding or around the potato famine of the 1840s. His father was(Andrew?) Lee, who arrived with several children after an arduous voyage, during which his wife and two of his children were buried at sea. Does anyone know of any connections? Mary mschubar@suffolk.lib.ny.us
