Lee, I am looking for an unknown son of Frederick (1791-1873) and Rutha Culp Lee who is given in a family record simply as "W.D." Lee. The 1866 Bibb Co. AL census has a Frederick Lee listed, but I'm not certain if this is "our" Lee patriarch. The family moved around in several counties of central Alabama. DNA has our family in the kinship group of Hugh Lee of Blackwater. The siblings of W.D. Lee are Eliza Lee, m. Charles Nix, John Thompson Lee who moved to Choctaw Co. MS, Dr. PC Lee, who moved to MS, David Lee who married Kemp and moved to unknown, Rhoda Lee who married Caton, J.N. Lee (no further information and would like to find him) and possibly Mary Lee who married Price and Matilda Caroline Lee who married Anderson. Lee married Rebecca Gage Heath in 1835 in in Pennsylvania but it could have been Vermont or Connecticut. Stephen Samuel T Lee was born Oct. 1812 in Conn. and died aft. 1900 in Vestal, Broome, NY. He and Rebecca had two children, that I know of, Thompson Lee a son 1846-1883 born in Silver Lake, Susquehanna PA and Tounton Lee a girl b. 1834. Thompson married Alice Ida J Corson(1856-1887) & had one child Minnie May Lee 1881-1940. He also had a son Samuel b. 1875 mother unknown. Both children were born in Choconut, Susquehanna, PA. I do not know what happened to Samuel. Minnie was orphaned by six and was raised by the Corson Family in Vestal, NY. Minnie married Henry Clifton Ellis in NY. Samuel Lee her grandfather (b.1812) eventually joined Minnie in Vestal, NY which is where they both died. I am trying to find out who Stephen Samuel T Lee's parents were. He seems to use Samuel & Stephen interchangably in documents and lived most of his life in Choconut, Susqu! ehanna, PA. I am afraid the marriage is a miss read Richard Henry married the half sister of Elizabeth Steptoe. Elizabeth Md. Philip LEE. Richard Henry md. 1757 Anne Aylett. Nancy Fulgham 1840 Girl (name unknown) b. 1815-20 (maybe Martha Lee b. 1817 who m. Oliver Quinn 1833) Boy (name unknown) b. 1820-25 Girl (name unknown) b. 1820-25 Girl (name unknown) b. 1820-25 Martha B. b. ~1832 AL William b. ~1835 AL They were in the 1830 &1840 census Bibb Co. 1850 census Tishamingo Co, MS, moved MS ~1841. This is just information I pieced together from censuses. I don't think William is Hopkins' son because he isn't listed in Hopkins' will with his other children. Levi Lee appears in the New Jersey Lee family many times, but none ca 1832. I have 1824 to 1841, and they were around Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana.
