I'm looking for any info on an Amos LEE who was born appx. 1760. He married a Hannah BOWEN. I think he lived in Mass. for a time, and had a daughter named Miriam LEE who married a Robert TITUS. Amos lived in East Bloomfield Twp., Ontario Co., NY for a time. I believe he died there in 1849. Robert TITUS and Miriam moved to Macomb Co., Michigan. Robert TITUS and Miriam LEE had a daughter named DeLight TITUS who married a James W. CALDWELL (COLWELL). Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I am sorry but I don't have a lot of information and what little I do have is not accessible to me at this time. I hope with what little information I can provide, someone out there can help me. My great grandparents are listed in the 1900 Washington County, Virginia census but before that I can't find them. I would love to be able to trace this family further back. Any information or direction to go would be appreciated. Unfortunately I don't have the ggrandparents names handy, but they had several children (all boys I believe)and some of the names were: Gammon, John, Martin, Dave and others. John or Martin moved to Damascus, Virginia and lived there until his death. The other one moved to the Norfolk, Virginia area and lived there until his death. He had 2 daughters. My grandfather was Gammon W. who moved to married Maude Catherine Dunn in Abingdon and moved to Johnson City, Tn where they raised 3 children: Dorothy Maude, McNairy, and Everett. Looking for information on parents/syblings of a THOMAS JEFFERSON LEE, who was born Sept. 24, 1833-1835, in VA. At the age of 5, he moved with family to OH,. They again moved, to IN, when he was 15 years old. In Sept. of 1854, he married Mary Jane Lucas, in Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN. She was b. Sept. 15, 1834 in Greene Co., OH. They had 9 children who were born in IN, and moved to Montezuma, Poweshiek Co., Iowa in 1870, where they had 2 more children. Their children were: Sarah Elizabeth, Alice M., Ellen Francis, John, Hannah L., Silas L., Laura, Grant, Florence, James, Albert, and Susan. Some of the surnames connected to the children are: Coutts, Newscom, Butrum, and Pugh. Does anyone have this Thomas Jefferson LEE in their research? Would appreciate any information.
