Does anyone have ANY documented data on Zepheniah Lee? He is listed in the militia company from Augusta Co which marched to Point Pleasant in 1774 (Dunmore's War). He appears in the property tax lists of Rockingham Co in the years 1782, 1783, 1784, 1785, 1789, 1790, 1791, and 1792. He may have been listed in Botetourt Co in 1792 (can't find my note). Where was he born? When? Did he marry? Whom? Where did he go after he left Rockingham Co? When did he die? Where? Who were his parent? Did he have brothers and sisters?

I am looking for information on Garry Lee. He was born 1799 SC. He was in Jackson County, MS in 1820 & 1821, Marion County MS in 1825 and 1840, Perry County, MS in 1850, in St. Helena Parish, LA in 1859-1869. He owned land just Northwest of Pine Grove on Hog Branch. He had 7 children, John Lee born 1836, Viney Lee born 1839, William Lee born 1841, Sarah Lee born 1842, Matilda Lee born 1844, Martha(Patsy) Lee born 1847, Elizabeth Lee born 1850. John and William eventually moved back to Miss. I want to know what happened to all the girls. Did they marry in the St. Helena Parish area? Does anyone know of an old cemetery near Hog Branch. There was also a Whitfield Lee who was in many of the same places at the same time as Garry Lee. Were they brothers? Both of these men had unusual names for this time. If anyone has either of these in their data, no matter where, please let me know. I don't know who the parents of Garry or Whitfield are. Older family members said Everett Lee was father of Garry. I haven't been able to prove this, yet.

I am looking for information on Hugh Lee, Sr who moved from Ninebanks, Northumberland, England in 1815 to Boston, MA. In 1829 he married Ann Jane Kirkbride (of Bucks Co., PA believed to be daughter of Capt Kirkbride, a sea capt in the revolutionary war?) in Philadelphia. In 1831 he moved to New York before moving and settling in Beloit, Rock County, Wisconsin in 1842. I have some information on his life and children (Richard, John Randall, William H, Julia Gertrude, and especially Hugh, Jr.), but would like to find out more about his parents (believed to be Matthew and Nancy (Smith) Lee from Ninebanks). I would like to find out more information while I am in the UK and be able to do some research. Thanks in advance for the help. Jeffrey D. Lee jakeelee@compuserve.com

I am looking for information on Jesse LEE. He was born in NC ca 1775. Where in NC? He had a brother named John LEE ca. 1785 NC. Jesse's wife was named Catherine ca. 1885 NC. John's wife was Annis. Jesse and Catherine had sons William G. and Stanford both born in NC. Probably other children as well. Jesse shows up in 1840 census for Muhlenberg Co. KY along with William G. and Stanford. In 1850 census he is listed along with Catherine and his sons. This time John and Annis and their children are also listed. I am assuming Jesse and family came to KY sometime before his brother. Both families are also listed in 1860 census. Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Ann Willson alwillson@kih.net
