In April of 1887, Albert Clinton LEE and his wife, Mary Jane (Jennie) THORNE were living in Carbondale, Lackawanna Co., PA. It was at this time that they had a daughter, Maude Ethel LEE. If I was Edmund and I just lost my wife (the light of my life) and family, I think I might leave Shepherdstown. Does anyone have any informationon the above named couple? They had a son named John who served in the War of 1812. His widow, also Sarah, applied for a pension. John died in 183_ in Howard County, Missouri. His daughter, Priscilla Lee md. John LEE, and had four children; James , William M., plus two more Priscilla was born abt. 1808. George Bowers LEIGHwas born 25 May 1855 in Indiana (probably Randolph county) and was the son of James T. LEIGH (1812-1886) and Mary Coon (1813-1876). Family lived in Bond county, Illinois and later moved to Carroll county, Missouri by 1875. In Oct 1875 George married Sarah____ and is last heard of in 1880 census of Carroll county, Missouri. Would like to find out what happened to him. He had a sister Elizabeth who married a George BAYLESS and another who Nancy Ann who married a William FLEMING also a brother Amos Harrison.
