<<Hi Lorraine, were all of these Lee's in the Texas area?? Mine were basically from the New Jersey area but I never see any mention of New Jersey on here. hmmmm! Just wondering. Thanks. Lynda Lynda, I know what you mean about the geographical propensities of the Lee list. My Lees were in Pennsylvania. I've gotten back as far as a probated will for Robert Lee in Huntingdon County, PA 1803. They were closely tied to a family who came from Hopewell New Jersey. I'd be interested in what you have. Hi Loraine, I wish I knew. I haven't gotten any further back on this line. I'm calling the local FHL library tomorrow to order the microfilm I mentioned, to see what info is on it. I ordered copies from Macon Co., Al. Probate Judges Office in August, but haven't heard from them yet. This line needs a lot more work, and/or a lot of help. After reading the posts from the mailing lists, I sent an email to the wrong person about Jesse Lee. The email should have been posted to the mailing list. Sorry for the error. I will repost my query to the list directed to Lorraine about Jesse in her database. Maybe someone else has some info on my Jesse. Here was the post: I saw your post on the Lee Mailing List and noticed you had three Jesse Lee's in your data base. My 3 greats grandfather was Jesse Lee born ca. 1814 in Tennessee. He was in Butler County Ohio in the 1830's. He married Catherine Floyd in 1834 in Butler Co., Ohio He died at Camp Dennison, Ohio during the civil war and buried at Wood Hill Cem. in Warren Co., Ohio. Does any of your Jesses fit the description of my Jesse? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Paula Wright
