To be fair to everyone on the Boards, its very important to include all the information you have- this helps other researchers of your family and also volunteers who are interested in helping you 'fill in the gaps'....as no one likes to have their time wasted. To keep the exercise moving along, it helps to acknowledge other people's helpfulness. Also, be very specific about what information you are wanting. It also helps if you let us know what records you have access to - eg Ancestry.com, Findmypast, Familysearch etc For example, asking what tribe a family belongs to without any further information - eg mother or fathers side or how far back etc, is not going to get much of a response.
