My LeDuc family came from France and went to London in the 1700's. It is believed the name changed to Duke. Not because they were retards, but probably due to the desire to 'fit in' with the English. The French were not welcomed in England so many French people anglicized their names. I cannot believe you would write such an ignorant post to this board.
