Raymond Leduc - (Inside Bay Area) RAYMOND (N) LEDUC 73, of Hayward passed away on November 17, 2006 at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward of congestive heart failure. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on December 9, 1932. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Pholomena Garcia and father, Joseph Pierre R. Leduc. He was the eldest of eleven children, a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean conflict, and a retired Teamster (Local #70). He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Leduc; daughters, Renee Leduc of Sacramento, Gena Ellis and husband, Mark of Nora Springs, Iowa; son, Raymond Joseph Leduc and wife, Debra of San Leandro; and his dearly loved granddaughters, Maria Matthews and Rochelle Ledo, both of Hayward. He is also survived by his sister, Carole Welch of Roseville, and brothers, Donald Leduc of Union City, W. Leroy Garcia of Castro Valley, Robert Garcia of Hayward, Gerald Garcia of Union City, Wayne Garcia of Carson, John Garcia of Hayward, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was beloved by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Neptune Society in Castro Valley on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. According to his wishes, his ashes will be scattered at sea. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Raymond's memory to your favorite charity.
