Leduc, Olivina LEDUC, Olivina A resident at McConnell Manor and formerly of St. Felix Street in Cornwall, ON, Olivina "Vena" Vanier Leduc passed away peacefully on July 7th at the age of 90. Born on August 10, 1919 to the late Alfred Vanier and Maria LaFrance Vanier, she was married to the late Maurice Leduc. She is survived by her son, Raymond Leduc, Sr. (Claudine Martin) of Marlboro, NY, her daughter-in-law, Jane Dietz Leduc of Bolingbrook, IL, her daughter, Francoise Leduc Yelle (Robert G.), and her son, Renald Leduc (Lydia Ybarra) of San Diego, CA. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to Raymond Leduc, Jr. (Dina Dall Vechia) and their children, Olivia, Alexander, Ian, and Elizabeth "Ella" of Marlboro, NY; Marc Leduc (Meghan Root) and their sons, Nathaniel and Hudson of Leavenworth, Kansas; Eric Leduc of Burlington, VT; Lorelei Leduc Cortez (Gilbert) and their sons, Joshua, Jacob, and Jonathan of Bolingbrook, IL; Jon-Paul Leduc of Bolingbrook, IL; Carolyn Yelle Gomes (Alan) and their children, Julia, Matthew, Rebecca, and Sierra of Calgary, AB; Dr. Robert "Bobby" Yelle (Monika Snoek) and their children, Marika, Gavin, Luke, and Liam of Stittsville, ON; and Quirina Ybarra-Branch of Westminister, CA. She is also survived by her sister, Victoria Mayer of Casselman, ON, her sister, Jeannette Legault (Alban) of Vanier, ON, her brother, Gerard Vanier of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, her sister, Rose Horton of Cornwall, ON, her sisters-in-laws, Lillian Tessier Vanier of Malone, NY, Rejeanne Leduc Campeau of Orleans, ON, and Cecile Cloutier Leduc of Vero Beach, FL, as well as 40 nieces/nephews and their families living in both the United States and Canada. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Bernard and Richard, five brothers, Ernest, Joseph, Albert, Philorum, and Alfred (Freddy) and four sisters, Maria Pomainville, Delima Meilleur, Cecile Bergeron, and Blanche Leduc. She was also predeceased by four siblings who died in infancy, Alfred, Oliva, Alphonse, and Irene, several brothers/sisters-in-laws as well as one niece and three nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall, ON (613-933-2841) from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9th and from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, July 10th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Second Street East, Cornwall at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall, ON. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
