I did some research on Emma Dion and she may well be Clifford's sister but she died young so her trail ended abruptly and wasn't too much help. I thought that by going backwards, as you suggest, I might be able to locate my grandmother Rosanna LeDuc but so far no luck. She left my grandfather and remarried and no one knows the name of her second husband or where she moved. This Clifford/Mary Trembly line is most likely her grandparents.
