I was told by both my dad and the charbonneau's. The family that owned the scuba diving place on the cheboygan river on m-33, that we were related. I never really asked any questions. I did find out that when my grandmother was born, they were living in benton township by aloha. This is where the charbonneaus livied also. If you live near cheboygan we should get together and compare notes. I found this out at Holy Name of Jesus Assinis Church in Baraga. In fact they were married by Frederick Baraga. I'm going up there this month to see if their parents were listed. Mercier, Daniel Passed away, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the age of 50 years. Beloved husband of Rachelle (nee Leduc). Loving father of Mireille, Emanuel and Raphaël. He will be sadly missed by his parents Jacques Mercier and Rita (nee Gravelle), siblings Rachelle (Roger), Pierre (Monique), André (Dominique) and Stéphane, members of the Leduc family, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Born on August 10, 1919 to the late Alfred Vanier and Maria LaFrance Vanier, she was married to the late Maurice Leduc. She is survived by her son, Raymond Leduc, Sr. (Claudine Martin) of Marlboro, NY, her daughter-in-law, Jane Dietz Leduc of Bolingbrook, IL, her daughter, Francoise Leduc Yelle (Robert G.), and her son, Renald Leduc (Lydia Ybarra) of San Diego, CA.
