I have several pioneer ancestors who went to the temple with their wife and were sealed to several of the wife's relatives who died as spinsters, in the belief that this would help them gain the celestial kingdom. These women they were never married to in this life show up as marriages in nFS. I understood from talking to Ron Tanner some time ago that when nFS migrated to FamilySearch Family Tree this would solve the problem as the temple records would be another source, not an integral part of the record. However, they still come over into Family Tree as marriages. Does anyone know if there anything that can be done to correct this now or in the near future? ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Mon, 9 Jul 2012 08:35:21 -0500 From: Karen Tippets <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [LDS-WC] Indexing ditto marks To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]om> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 What we do is one thing. What the census taker did may be something entirely different. It's been interesting to see the differences in census takers: hand writing, spellings, abbreviations (or lack thereof), and other variations in various parts of the country. Some seem to follow the rules, some seem to forget some of them. But, we have the 1940 census now, and it's getting closer to done every day. Sealings will no longer create relationships. Ron Tanner and his team are working on it now and it will be incorporated as soon as possible. 3. Hi Jerry, I am a travel agent since 1979, and I recommend Frommers if you want to do your own planning for England I subscribe to their online newsletter, but don't book with them as they are also independent of travel agents , Brendan and others also have packages where you get the hotlel modules and rail or whatever you wish to add.  Trafalgar may have do it yourself modules also.  Then Rick Steves guides are really good for finding less expensive accomodations and putting together your own packages.  You will probably  find his online too, although as an agent I do not use his site(no commission) He has a TV program too and is very detailed in his descriptions of everything. Good Luck with your trip planning, Betty Jo  ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Cowley" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 6:42:56 AM Subject: Re: [LDS-WC] LDS-WARD-CONSULTANT Digest, Vol 7, Issue 156 Can anyone recommend online sites for planning trips to Germany or the British Isles?  Thanks, Jerry -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 1:01 AM To: [email protected] Subject: LDS-WARD-CONSULTANT Digest, Vol 7, Issue 156 Please send the one word message SUBSCRIBE or UNSUBSCRIBE to [email protected]  If you prefer the digest version, use a D instead of the L in the request address.  Please remember to restrict the size of your post.
