I always wondered why Ancestral file and PRF were added to new.familysearch. I had many living people in those files (there were just uploads of my data) Regards, Fred I want to thank all the contributors on this subject that have made postings in our group. I have not been actively using nFS for about a months because of company and vacation time so I appreciate knowing about this in the event that I find things out of order on my data. The most recent posting confirmed to me the instructions given to us not to add living people to our lines except under the circumstances that they are needed as a bridge or already part of the church records that appear with our family group. It does seem puzzling that the information was added to living people but I am not sure that the system would see FamilySearch contributions as an outside source which it sounds as if this was.
