    3. Good thoughts, Jill, thanks for sharing them. Everything IS based on honesty, down to our temples assuming we have permission from nearest kin to do the work for those born within the last 95 years. We aren't asked to provide written proof, it is assumed that as temple-worthy members, we are honest when we say we have the permission. I don't know if the Church will ever change their policy regarding permission (asking for written permission, that is), but our Father in Heaven will know the intent of our hearts and whether we are truly honest.
