I learned today that those of us in Utah and Idaho who have not had access to New Familysearch can now go online for the training. There are a few temple districts which have been notified that they are going to come online with the new program (they are listed there when you go in to get the training.) But all of us can now access the video and the training. They are saying that this will actually roll out by stakes here, and stakes will have access only if they have family history consultants within that stake who have registered and completed the training. Just go to consultant.familysearch.org If you not already registered there, do so. If you are, then look at the right-hand side of the screen and read the information for the Utah and Idaho rollout and click on the button to access further information and training. I am so delighted! Hope you are too. It's been a long wait. Jeanne Davis Paradise, Utah
Those in Utah and Idaho who have not received notification that their stakes are in the pre-rollout time frame (most of them), still cannot register for new FamilySearch until their stake priesthood leaders receive notification packets. Mainly for after your stake priesthood leaders receive notification that you are in the pre-rollout time frame: [1]New website to help stakes in Utah and Idaho prepare for the rollout of new FamilySearch. You can get acquainted with this new website now and prepare as much as possible, and view the two new video classes located there. Then you can finish preparing once your stake receives notification and your registered consultants and registered priesthood leaders receive early access to new FamilySearch. They will then have a new lesson added, teaching them new FamilySearch, and they will then be able to do the practice exercises (to learn new FamilySearch) located on the new website. Once they receive early access to new FamilySearch, their ILS lessons will be transferred from the netdimensions website to their new FamilySearch account and will be accessed by going into new FamilySearch > Help Center > Training and Resources tab > e-learning courses. ______________________________________________________________________ Jeanne Davis wrote: I learned today that those of us in Utah and Idaho who have not had access to N ew Familysearch can now go online for the training.
