I saw something on BYU TV that caught my eye. It's and interesting series with various "experts" in the field which I have found interesting. Some things were neat to know - like they expect all films in the vault to be digitized in 6-7 years. I knew they are not creating much new microfilm anymore.. straight to digital now, but I didn't know that the Church only had 20 cameras. While I was fascinated at the prospect of other organizations helping us transcribe records.. my ears picked up when he talked about the future for FHCs. Alan W.
