    3. If I am not mistaken, for a certain period members were sealed to Church leaders. Only later was it revealed that we should be sealed to our own parents and so on, and that we should research our own genealogies and extend the blessings of temple work to our own ancestors -- instead of just being sealed to some righteous leaders and turning our backs to our ancestors.
