If I were a member of your community, and perhaps with 10 or 20 history, I think I'd be interested in knowing what it was like for the charter members -- some of their memories and reasons why they become members might be fun. You would have a better feel for this, since you probably know many of the old timers and might even know some of their stories. But doing a sheet on them with their story and a photo could be fun. I know a lady who does something similar for her family cemetery. She encloses the sheet in plastic and adheres it to a stake which she puts in the ground near the graves. Local folks got to enjoy this so much, that they approached her and asked why when she missed doing it one year. Are there multi-families living in the development? That might be of interest. Maybe just a list of historical events. A time line of what was going on within the the community compared to what was heppening in the world outside? Good luck. Sounds like fun.
