    3. Thank you for your thoughts. I was thinking of doing a series of interviews with those who first moved here and writing them up but also video taping vignettes from them to put together in some kind of video that could be shown. We have over 700 families living here (we are like a town) and a lot of talent, so I could probably find a videographer who could do the video work. I have done a history on the cemetery but it is not a cemetery just for this community but for a larger geographic area. I like the idea you gave of the historical timeline of events. We have a number of good artists in the community and I can probably get one to illustrate such a timeline. I am looking forward to more suggestions from those on the list. I know there are great ideas lurking out there. You would have a better feel for this, since you probably know many of the old timers and might even know some of their stories. But doing a sheet on them with their story and a photo could be fun. I know a lady who does something similar for her family cemetery. She encloses the sheet in plastic and adheres it to a stake which she puts in the ground near the graves. Local folks got to enjoy this so much, that they approached her and asked why when she missed doing it one year. Are there multi-families living in the development? That might be of interest. Maybe just a list of historical events. A time line of what was going on within the the community compared to what was heppening in the world outside? Good luck. Sounds like fun. 3. Is there a group in the area that exists to help keep the cemetery clean, etc.? There is an Oregon association of such folks and it is not unusual for several pioneer cemeteries to arrange annual events where participants dress up in period attire, etc. So if there were such a group in your area, they might come and put on a show for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gay Davis" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 07, 2012 9:41 PM Subject: Re: [LDS-WC] Community History > Thank you for your thoughts.
