Hi there everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I may not be spending as much time on the discussion boards as I used to due to my new calling. I am no longer the High Counselor over Family History. I was released yesterday and given a new calling as the Executive Secretary in our Ward. I will try to continue volunteering at the FHC as time allows and providing my input to the board when I can. One great thing that I was able to initiate for the Stake before being released is that we will be working on implementing a plan similar to what Springfield Illinois Stake did with family history and reactivation. If you haven't seen the inspirational video you should. Every Ward was supposed to get a copy of the DVD and each member of the Ward Council should have gotten a manual "To Turn the Hearts". Make sure they have these and are using them. Please visit the website below for more information on this program. Our Stake Priesthood Leadership training will include this program. Instead of just inviting the Priesthood Leadership we have invited all members of the Ward Council and their presidencies along with the youth class presidencies.
