    3. I'd vow sometimes the system has to "catch up" or re-index after combining records. I thought I had a sealing that didn't show a week after it was done, (I had combined a newly emerged couple of names on it and thought I'd goofed it up.) I took the card to the temple a couple of days later and the sealing was in place. I contact them this a.m. After combining and getting a family together (some of the parents have had as many as 9 duplicates and then getting the children duplicates all handled, then ready to do the ordinances. It then shows that ALL of the children need to be sealed to parents when going to do ordinances. When checking the children indvidually on their ordinances it shows the sealing to parents is done but there is a duplicate set of the same named parents and the sealing shows not done. Only one set of parents shows up and there are no duplicates for either parent but the sealing shows 2 one done and one not done. When going to the pedigree to do the temple work it then causes duplicate sealings to occur. I know this has happened over at least the last week. > Has anyone else noticed this severe problem? > > Steve Kelsey __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 8365 (20130523) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com

    3. I am adding the following to my personal list of Tree Tips. It is a slight revision of a message I sent a day or two ago in response to the original post on this subject. *IMPORTANT: *When combining duplicates of parents you may see duplicates of children, parents & spouse listed on each side with different ID numbers. Be sure to move all family members from the right tothe left, then continue merging duplicates of these family members until all are merged. If there are temple ordinances associated with any of the family members on the right, you cannot see them and you will loose them if you don't move everyone over so they are saved. If the ID numbers are the same you do not need to move them but it won't hurt anything if you do.** Ann A.
