    1. [LDS-WC] Sync with Trees I created on Ancestry
    2. Mary S. Scott (Michigan)
    3. Perhaps some of other consultants can give me some advice.   This winter I created some family trees on Ancestry for each of my grandparents. I uploaded a GedCom file for each grandparent from my PAF file.   I made four trees because of the way I have my databases organized but the main reason is because each one of my grandparents has a different heritage (Sweden, Canada and the British Isles, Netherlands/Germany, and Quaker from American colonies and the British Isles).   It has been fun searching for the various documents available on Ancestry. It has been exciting to see new sources that I found to support my data and to increase my knowledge about these family members. Of course I also have added the sources which I already had in my PAF database.   Now I am wondering how I can add these sources to my PAF or to my Ancestral Quest databases.   Do I need to buy Ancestry's computer software to sync between my online family trees and my databases.   I already use Ancestral Quest to sync between my databases and Family Tree to add the ordinance dates and temples codes.   Have any of you worked on this type of task with an online tree on the Ancestry website?   I am interested in hearing from some of you.   Thanks for your time. Looking forward to your insights and sharing of your experiences.   Mary Scott Aurora, Illinois

    3. The bigger question - why does it have to be behind required paid subscription to see the Trees in Ancestry.com? David Samuelsen On 5/21/2013 12:58 PM, Mary S. 3. I printed out the documents so I had a copy on hand, then scanned them on the computer and attached them to my PAF file that way. You might be able to save the documents right to your computer, but I cannot remember. It has been a while since I have done it Amy Griffin Paulden, Arizona Sent from my iPhone On May 21, 2013, at 1:35 PM, "W David Samuelsen" <dsam52@sampubco.com> wrote: > The bigger question - why does it have to be behind required paid > subscription to see the Trees in Ancestry.com? > > David Samuelsen > > On 5/21/2013 12:58 PM, Mary S.
