    3. That's minor, really. You can use PAF as a genealogy program only, but you don't have to record temple information there (that is already on FamilyTree). O usually tell people that PAF is for genealogy, and Family Tree is for preparing ordinances. Now, if you must enter some code, you can use these: http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/codes/ Or, you can create your own (there is a warning, but it can be ignored) or you can simply enter "Cleared" in the ordinance field so at elast you know the temple work is done. > Date: Wed, 15 May 2013 13:36:33 -0600 > From: dsam52@sampubco.com > To: lds-ward-consultant@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [LDS-WC] Do I Still Need a Desktop Genealogy Program or is Family Tree Enough? > > a major problem here - PAF does not have any codes covering any > announced/built Temples since 2000. > > David Samuelsen > > On 5/15/2013 11:09 AM, SCOTT KATHY wrote: > > Shanna, PAF is the personal program I encourage new researchers to use > > to get them hooked.
