Yes, my stake (Coos Bay Oregon) is currently involved in this program. The goal is to take at least as many names as there are living members in the stake through the temple before the end of this year. It's kind of along the same idea as when a city has a sister city in another country. Only our stake's "sister city" is beyond the veil. The idea is to populate it with dead ancestors. Make sense?
