    3. I believe this is a very harsh reply. This is not a very difficult problem. There are very, very many who are sealed prior to their other work being done and although we are asked to do so when names are given to the temple file they are done out of order. If one selects to do the baptism, initiatory, and endowment and sealing but leaves the sealing to spouse for the temple to do it usually gets done before one can get the others done. It is just not valid until the other ordinances are completed and then it is becomes completely valid and ok. 3. Whether valid or not, we are still asked to do things that we as individuals do in a specific order. There's reasons for that, and I happen to think we ought to do it the way they ask. Saying things are harsh for feeling this way is glossing over the fact that people aren't doing things the way they're asked to do them. It's not that hard for people to follow the way they're asked to do them. So what's wrong with thing they're supposed to? I can imagine things getting forgotten when they get done out of order, slips getting put aside and forgotten about.
