A very good answer Steve, this happened to my great grandfather, someone mixed him with another person of the same name, so I thought his work had been done except the sealing and I had him sealed to his first and second wives, then I found out that the one who was complete was another man of the same name, but different year of birth, done by someone else and merged with mine, and my ggrandfather had not had his initiatory and endowment done, so the Temple just told me to make sure I did it as soon as I could, there was not a problem as long as it gets done. We should all remember to love each other, no matter how frustrated we get when someone does something wrong. We are all trying our best to do the best we can, and some have more knowledge and more experience than others, and so we help each other. Thanks for all the helpful answers I get in this consultant email. I believe this is a very harsh reply. This is not a very difficult problem. There are very, very many who are sealed prior to their other work being done and although we are asked to do so when names are given to the temple file they are done out of order. If one selects to do the baptism, initiatory, and endowment and sealing but leaves the sealing to spouse for the temple to do it usually gets done before one can get the others done. It is just not valid until the other ordinances are completed and then it is becomes completely valid and ok.
