After you get the permission then you should be able t o research census, etc. to find his parent's info. Until u have permission, the rest seems not that important to me. I do not have his parents information, and his mother is still living. The sister who wants to do this is not married. Is the Sister currently married? To me, it makes sense to putin the marriage data regardless of where you put the ex in the tree but if you are connecting them in a tree yet not doing a sealing it does not make sense to me to leave the data out. I have been married 3 times. Twice to my current husband that bein.g the 1st and 3rd marriage. I have all of the marriages/divorces recorded in nFS. I figure there is no reason for someone else to wonder about the situation whether it is the same person or what. My 4 children belong to the 2nd marriage so it could be confusing. Do I need the marriage date and divorce date? RS president told me to check with the sister to see if she got permission. The Church is becoming very adamant about that these days Were there any children from the marriage? They would take precedence over the mother in getting permission, I'd think. And she would only need permission from one of them. And for that matter, they might want to do their father, or be present when his work is done. Nancy, when you are on the Home page of nFS, and choose "add information", there is an option to "add an individual that is not connected to my family tree". That is one of the options if she does not want to link him to her as an ex-spouse. Of course all the same rules apply ie: getting permission, etc. Cindy On Mon, Jun 25, 2012 at 10:33 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > After you get the permission then you should be able t o research census, > etc. to find his parent's info. > > Until u have permission, the rest seems not that important to me. > > Nancy Scott > > Sent from my Epic 4g > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Nancy Gibert <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Mon, 25 Jun 2012 12:14 PM > Subject: Re: [LDS-WC] help for temple ordinance > > My question is how do I submit it.
