As wonderful an experience as they're going to have traveling around to the temples, it will be even more meaningful to them if they took names that they helped find. Also, they could use the time and education they get to satisfy goals in their different programs. I don't think you should feel that it's your responsibility alone to find the names. Think of yourself as the coordinator and the expert consultant. Since I know the bishop I can say that I have no doubt he would give his 100% support to have you lead whatever you needed to for the ward to be involved. Change it to a ward goal instead of your own personal goal. You just need to be there to teach them how and to watch the progress to keep them on track. Annaleise
Annaleise (I know who you are) I just coordinate the gathering of cards from several members of the ward and also get my cards in as well. It's just the logistics of getting that many cards in short time. Two youths already have their family cards because their father is a convert. The others need to be prodded to try to find theirs in their families (most are LDS already, making it harder for them to find.) I already have the backup in case the goal is not reach in time.
