Please don't put "unnamed child" in to get around the system - the system will accept "Mr." or "Miss". When we see "unnamed child" at our Temple, we put a note on the cards for the patron the speak with the Recorder. Just last night I found the death certificate of a baby who lived 5 hours. She was unnamed, and the system took her as "Miss Cardstensen" just fine, so it does work and is appropriate. no can do with Mr or Miss when it come to German records. It's son or daughter. Nothing else. And we have been advised, cautioned, warned, and adominished about following the record to ensure accuracy. Those programmers must have not been German enough to know the difference.
