    1. Re: [LDS-WC] How many members do genealogy
    2. One of the things that I LOVE about the Canadian censuses is that sometimes they tell what religion a person was, so that one can possibly find more specific records than the census gives. Wish US censuses would have done that occasionally. Karen In a message dated 6/24/2009 1:27:35 P.M. They were from an old line New England family who went to Canada during the Revolutionary War. Since "the book" was written on this family, so many new records are now available to us. The Canadian census records are every bit as good as the US census records and all indexed on ancestry.com. I am finding family after family of my cousins. I am checking both with PAF Insight (quick first run) and then NFS...and none of them has temple work completed. The article about a year ago in the Ensign that said we can pursue all the descendants of our direct line is very possible using census records. And since the US is terrible for birth records, I think finding a person twice in the census is plenty of verification. Michele In a message dated 6/24/2009 10:32:04 A.M.
