    3. MIles, The earliesat date is the only valid date. Any later dates for same ordinances are not valid at all. Once is once, and that was and is the intent of the nFS to do away with duplications. It's valid if it is correct merged record. David Samuelsen Miles Meyer wrote: > > 2. 3. A member in our ward wants to know if there is any way they can stop the rebaptism of their ancestors. Their ancestors were baptized at age of 8 while still living. It concerns them that they keep seeing these rebaptisms because they realize that it is wasting time and money to redo them. Any advise? From: W. 3. "A member in our ward wants to know if there is any way they can stop the rebaptism of their ancestors." A feature was added to Family Tree for us to add ordinance information that is not showing in nFS. This will help with IOUS that can't be combined, or anything else that is currently lost in the system. If the living baptisms need to be filled in, that says the records that are clearing the names have not been combined with membership records. First, try to combine. Second, add the dates by hand. Either way, the ordinances will not be able to be cleared again. If someone has already reserved them and they have not yet done the work, the link isn't available to add the information by hand. However, I have heard of people reserving these ordinances that have already been done as a way to prevent them from being done again. I wouldn't necessarily panic over the fact that they are reserved--if that's the case. Jill Crandell
