Last week I wrote FamilySearch Support on the matter of the "son" and "daughter" being used in New FamilySearch. It is now the accepted policy to use "son" or "daughter" when submitting a child who did not receive a given name before they died. I asked if the term had to be in English. They replied: "no, different users can use the term from their own language." Apparently the program does recognize the terms in other languages. So when Br.
