    1. Re: [LDS-WC] Read only
    2. That's comforting. Because every once in a while my PAF file comes up "read only" and I have to go in through properties and fix it. Michele In a message dated 6/14/2009 7:42:36 A.M. Michele, I don't believe the record "you" submitted is the one that is read-only. When I get the read-only message, it says that "one" of the records is read-only and it doesn't say which one. In my resolved cases, the read-only records were duplicate membership records. The current case that has not been resolved for me is my living in-laws, so I can't send you to look at the file. In that case, I hand-entered them, so there was no electronic transfer. I believe the problem is in the membership record that the Church had already tied to my husband's record. That one didn't show up until I had hand-entered their information, because they are living. Now, he has a duplicate set of parents, and they can't be merged because of a read-only file. All of my deceased read-only problems have been resolved through reporting them to Support.
