Yes, I did. That's one of the reasons I was so surprised when the nickname came up on the sheet that printed. I went back in and tried again (I have gotten in the habit of not saying "yes it printed," until I look at what printed.) I don't know why it printed out that way, but it did. So we moved on. I figure it this way: I will try to use the most complete name that I can find. If it is only a nick name form of the name that will print out because she's in there several times, or if all I can find is "Mrs. John Doe", or whatever, we'll go with it. I am not one to grab the first thing that crosses the desk, but sometimes it becomes futile to keep looking for more sources that give a different opinion. Or like the sealer that kept pronouncing my Dad's middle name as a totally different name. It was right on the paper, he knows who he is. We do the best that we can within reasonable effort. That's one of the reasons I love the NFS. If after the work is done, we finally find who the person was in their own right, and they were done as Mrs. John Doe, we can put in the correct name.
