Well, I no sooner sent this than I just got an answer back from familysearch after waiting a couple of days--they tell me the typed version is available on Ancestry just below the original handwritten version. I will check this out. I shouldhave been more patient before putting this on the consultant board but I have been really frustrated. Change is always hard. I really like the way the census was available as well as the Ped Resource File.
