Census is no longer there. You can select it but it does not come up and it takes you to new site. The 1880 census with all of the data, i.e. each household together with their ages, relationships, and birthplaces I assume will now be entirely lost from the site. The new version is absolutely terrible as it doesn't show birthplaces unless you bring up each and every individual--what a pain. When something works well, leave it alone. If you want to spend the money for ancestry I guess you can get it there. After all of the work I personally spent on indexing the 1880 census and having it so available and in such beautiful form we now have a terrible mishmash in presentation. That is probably why I don't do much indexing at all any more.
