People need to remember that other people may be descended from the same people he is. Just because he has an ancestor doesn't mean that someone else doesn't have the same ancestor. And if someone else is a member of the Church, they can do the ancestors. Yes, people should respect the rule for getting permission, but if there's someone just as closely related, who wants to argue which individual has the right to get temple work performed.
