The microfilms not all digitized by a long shot. This is a multi-year project. Our center is checking its microfilm listings against the online catalog so we can clean out the duplicates so far. Searchers run onto the others at random, as they seek records, much like they find the books that have been digitized. When we do find them, focusing them is a problem because of some kind of delay that makes them jump around. Some staff members think it's the microfilm and some think it's our dated computers handling large images. Just wondered if any others have experienced this and know the cause?
