    3. Yesterday I tried getting a technical question asked about PAF by phone and email. I got a canned email back unresponsive to my question basically saying the church wasn't supporting PAF anymore and suggesting I get another software package. I finally gave up on the phone, the receptionist didn't seem to recognize the word PAF and I was on hold for too long to continue. Does anyone know if there is a way you can run a family group sheet in PAF and put the wife at the top of the page? Gay

    3. I do not think it is possible to reverse the order of the Husband and Wife on a family group record in PAF.  At the same time, I do not think it possible to only have the wife and not the husband at the top of a FGR. If the husband is unknown, then the family should just leave that section blank. The program allows us to mark a spouse as unknown. PAF works on the aspect of families. Children are born into a family because of the relationship between a man and a woman. If the husband is not recorded, his section is left blank. So if someone doesn't want the husband recorded, just leave him out of PAF. 3. I'm kind of curious as to the reason for printing the wife at the top of the family group record. At one point, I was compiling a book of FGRs for a particular surname and found that it would have been helpful had I been able to print the wife at the top because she was the member of that family with the surname for that book and it would have made things a little easier to sort. So, for example, in my HERRING book, I would have been able to see at the top of a series of FGRs: Benjamin Herring, Claude Herring, Ethel Herring, Frank Herring, etc. instead of Benjamin Herring, Claude Herring, Paul Waters, Frank Herring, etc. Just saying there could be a reason besides the father being unknown for such a request. :) -Terri J.
