1. In my humble opinion, Ancestral Quest is what a fully updated PAF program would look like. I made the switch some years ago and found the new program like working with an old friend, with added features. There was a bit of a learning curve on the new features, but there would be a learning curve if PAF was updated. > the millions they are spending on trying to iron out Family> Tree, you'd think a few simple updates to PAF would be a cinch. I agree > with other. PAF and Family Insight are easy. 2. Reference Knowledge Document 106162, A record has information for more than one person. This knowledge document is still available in Family Tree using the search terms above. We can still call support with this issue. The response that was received by persons with cases already in the system was not as clear as it could have been, in my opinion. We are being told, "For your information (& if you wish to inform your patron),​ this case has not been forgotten (& the "Waiting For Patron Response is just a computer memo...not to worry),​ but cases that need Match/​Merge or separating out are on hold while the engineers work on a glitch in the system. This may take some time so you may wish to mention this to future patrons with the same issues. Please be patient. Thank you."
