It is easy to delete incorrect relationships inFamily Tree and I have not found instability in the program. In fact, is easier to fix errors there than in new.familysearch! Simplygo to the Person View for the person with the incorrect parents, hover your mouse over the person's name under the parents. When you see Edit Relationship, click on it and then click on Delete Relationship, give a reason and you are done. It should work like a charm. If you'd like to review how to use Family Tree see https://familysearch.org/tree-training. Ann A. On 6/11/2013 8:13 PM, Gay Davis wrote: Steve, Thanks for passing that on. I found that someone had given a person in my line parents that did not belong to him. I contacted the person and sent some documentation regarding the true parents. He promptly responded and said he would "unreserve" his entries. I explained that "unreserving" them would result in the incorrect parents still being attached to the line and asked if he would unlink the incorrect parents. He sent me his name and password and asked me to do it. I was a little surprised, but probably he is not familiar with Family Tree and neither am I. I have dragged my feet working with it, hoping the program would become more stable. Now I need to go in and unlink these "parents" from the family line, so your instructions came at a good time even though they don't specifically address unlinking an individual. I hope one can do that. Thanks for sending them and wish me luck. Gay ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve Kelsey > Dear FamilySearch Patron: > > Thank you for contacting FamilySearch.
