John Hamer Adams is my maternal Grandfather and was born in Market Lake, Idaho, Oct 5, 1901, and died in Boise, Ada County, Idaho June, 1981. The name Hamer came from the name of a town near Market Lake. Market Lake is now called Roberts, Idaho. It is near Idaho Falls, Idaho. He lived the rest of his life in Twin Falls, Idaho and died in Boise because that is where the hospital is that treats cancer. His father was John Quincy Franklin Adams, born, also born in Market Lake, Idaho 15 Aug 1872, and his grandfather was John Newton Adams, born 19 Feb 1833 in West Virginia, US. We have not traced them back further than Virginia and maybe New York. There are so many John Adams, but I only knew one John Hamer until yours.
