    3. I have absolutely no problem searching in FT. If you are trying to fill in all of the blanks in the search you certainly don't need to. For me usually the name and birthdate/birthplace are adequate to find the person I am looking for. If you have that few a names in your tree it should be relatively easy to find them using the pedigree by finding how they are directly related to you and then just working on down using the place where it shows the family and click on the child you want which changes that child to the principal one and then click on their child you want and it goes to the next one. I find this relatively easy.
