    1. Re: [LDS-WC] FS Family Tree live on FamilySearch?

    3. Oh, I thought the note they sent last week was so anyone with an LDS account could sign on and see the database through FamilySearch. I've been using it for the last several months as a tester, but I thought that now it was available to anyone with an LDS account that wanted to try it out. Here's the link to the sign up page, if you want to try and see if it works. The note doesn't say anything about it being limited to any area. http://familysearch.org/invite/familytree_tab <http://familysearch.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b0de542dc933cfcb848d187ea&id=4a09d21895&e=ed0b7156e5> Once you have signed in on this site, then when you go to FamilySearch.org and sign in with your LDS account, you see a new tab "Family Tree" next to the FamilySearch logo and that takes you to the new view of the nFS database. You only have to sign up on this "invite" screen once, but then whenever you want to work on your data in this view, you sign in on FamilySearch with your LDS account. The old view (new.familysearch.org) still works and gets you to the same database and changes made in one show up in the other, except, as we discovered last week, sources don't show in the old view anymore. ** Don Snow On 3/29/2012 3:08 PM, Kathy Shipley wrote: > Family search family tree is not available everywhere.
