Yep, and having said that, everyone MUST have a separate, personal genealogy database. Some of the early talk of members not needing one, is now moot. The existing Ancestral file and PRF data will not sync with members databases if that data shows the person as living, even if they have been dead 200 years. And if you have new information containing their death info, still no good, as the nFS's record shows them as living, and trump's your info..So we now have two databases to maintain, our own, and nFS's, which will contain somewhat different information..I have a several folks in my database who have died, but I can't sync them (with FI) because they are not dead in nFS, even though I have supplied the death info from my PAF file..I will try adding the info manually to nFS, but I have not had a lot of luck with that in the past...
