TN ). John married 1st Lucinda Minor, in 1850 they lived beside Clinton Manis. John married 2nd Frankie Singleton Trent in 1853 and Clinton Manis was the JP. There have been 2 of John's sons lines tested and they match the Manis's. I have 2 67/67 matches that descend from Seth Manis. You need to check into Morman Lawson of the Falling River Lawson's. He is beleived to have had four daughters that married Manis. They would have been born around 1777 to 1790. Check Stokes Co NC. Let me know what you find.
