However we are related. My great great grandfather was Joseph Lawson ( father Peter) born in Pailsey and married Maria Conroy in Cork 1862. He travelled the empire with the 69th regiment of foot( India/Canada/Bermuda/Gibraltar) and his daughters Margaret ( my g grandmother) born in bermuda, her sisters Mary ann b canada and Ellen b Gibraltar. My grandmother was margarets daughter and she ( Margaret jnr) married John Walshe in Glasgow in the early 1920's. I would be delighted to hear from you and you can see the trail on my family tree .
