Since there are a lot of questions & info being discussed on this site, I want to check and see if someone will agree with me. or tell me I am way off base. This is what I want to prove: Did Bartholomew & Susannah (Simkins) Lawson have a daughter Elizabeth, that married George Rogers??? George & Elizabeth (Lawson) Rogers named their first sons William and Bartlett. George Rogers' father was William Rogers. Which would make them naming their first sons after their fathers. Did this William Rogers marry Bartholomew's sister Lecia Lawson??? This would make George & Elizabeth (Lawson) Rogers cousins, (or something). Marrying cousins was not that unusual in those days. Who were all the children of George Rogers and Elizabeth Lawson? I thought Elizabeth was the daughter of a John lawson?!
