Nancy would have been my GG Grandmother. I have heard in the past a time or two that there was Cherokee in the Lawson side of our family. Have never really seen anything documenting it. I sent an e-mail to someone that had written a story on the Lawsons stating that there was Cherokee. I asked them where the information had come from? Have not received a reply yet.
